OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN – THE DECISION MAKERS OF THE FUTURE
Children are a vital and enlivening part of any community, and our schools are an integral part of the community of Emsworth. We are lucky to have two excellent primary schools in the town; Emsworth Primary School, on Victoria Road, and St James C of E Primary School on Bellevue Lane. Glenwood School, on Washington Road, serves the needs of children with specific learning needs.
Each school has its own spirit and character, but all are fully involved and engaged in the life of the community around them. From attending St Georges Day parades, to singing Christmas Carols for our older residents, our children grow up appreciating the joy of living in a place like Emsworth.
The schools look forward to continuing to play a central part in the life of the town, and see the forum as an ideal vehicle to work together with others to be a vibrant part of community life”.
PUBLIC MEETING
Our first Public Meeting was held at the Emsworth Community Association on 3rd June under a wider title of Young People. We touched on education amongst many other related topics concerning the young in what turned out to be a lively and interesting evening.
